My interest in Shibas started in 1995 when my great friend Diana Roberts brought home a blk and tan Shiba puppy. I just HAD to have one. Rusty was my first Shiba and I got hooked fast. Rusty and I learned everything together. We made some mistakes, but had a great time doing it.
I was lucky enough to have a great group of mentors. All of whom I am still close friends with.
I am currently in the medical field, having just completed my studies to be a Medical Assistant Tech.
Myself, my husband Chris, and our son Alex live in Northeast PA with our brood of Shibas. Right now they range in age from 14 1/2 to 2yrs. I have shown for approx 13 years now.
I have been an officer for my local Kennel Club and the National Shiba Club of America. I have been with the SCGNY for about 8yrs. I have enjoyed all of the friends I have made and people I have met. Having made some great life-long friends in the fancy has been one of the greatest gifts I have got from this AWESOME breed.
